Alex Yahn


Alex first joined the Pineapple in 2013 as “Mr. Grunion” in Love, Sex & the IRS, before taking center stage as “Tom” in In-laws, Outlaws and Other People (That Should Be Shot) in 2014. Alex’s other roles include “Peter Marriott,” in The Sound of Murder (2015 Best Play Award), “Justin Wills,” in Murder on the Rerun and most recently, “Eddie Pazinski” in the hilarious and heartfelt King O’ the Moon.”

Alex has been on stage since Junior high school and was a Radio/ TV major at Elon University, where he worked as ‘on-air’ talent in both mediums. His voice can be heard today, in commercials on local radio stations.

Prior to his current position as President, Alex served as the SLCT Board of Directors Treasurer. In addition to his work with the Pineapple Playhouse, he is a volunteer coach with the Port St. Lucie Soccer Club. He works with recovering alcoholics and addicts as a Utilization Review Nurse at a substance abuse treatment center in Port St Lucie. Originally from New Jersey, Alex is married, with 3 kids and 2 dogs. He is honored to be part of this amazing new Board of Directors.
