Reader's Theater

Are you starstruck, yet concerned you might become dumbstruck on stage?  Is that perfect memory from days of yore not so perfect these days?  Or is your schedule just too busy for the demands of lengthy rehearsals a full stage production requires?  Take heart!  We can still put you in the limelight in Pineapple Playhouse's READER'S THEATRE.

READER'S THEATRE directors will bring out your best via the Staged Reading Format in our Black Box Theatre.  Actors move about the stage, similar to a regular full production, yet have their scripts in front of them or in their hands at all times so they can read their part --- hence, the name Reader's Theatre. 

The READER'S THEATRE not only provides a unique showcase for your talent, but also is one of the ways the Pineapple Playhouse says “thank you” to its patrons, since all READER'S THEATRE shows are FREE!  (Of course, donations are always welcome).  And what better way to introduce your friends and family to the Pineapple Playhouse than with an enjoyable afternoon discovering your hidden talents?!
