Beauty and the Beast... Really

- Musical/Farce Comedy  {Three (3) Males - Four (4) Females}

     by: Rick Abbot

 Auditions:  November 7, 8, 9, 2010 - Show Dates: January 6 - 23, 2011

Unexpected and hilarious twists make this version of the classic an entirely different romp for the whole family.  The cast of seven play nine roles: Beauty, The Beast, Father, Mother, Stepsister, Boyfriend, a hound dog, a theatrical entrepreneur and a hopelessly inept tap dancer whose thankless job is to distract the audience during the scene alterations. There is only a single set that ingeniously converts from farm to castle and back again in a few seconds. Underlying the hilarity is a solid message about true beauty.

Arsenic and Old Lace

 (Comedy) {Eleven (11) Males and Three (3) Females}

         by: Joseph Kesselring

Auditions: March 6,7,8 - Show Dates: May 5-22, 2011

This perennial favorite tells the gentle tale of two charming old ladies who poison their lodgers so that they might be spared the pains of earthly life
An inspired and delightful comic concoction, which combines the cozy charm and ingenious plotting of an Agatha Christie
whodunit but with a much sharper and more knowing satirical perspective.
